Sullivan's picks for GVRD, TransLink

Mayor-elect Sam Sullivan has made his picks for who he wants to represent Vancouver at the major regional authorities.

Not surprisingly, they're almost entirely made up of his Non-Partisan Association caucus, which holds half the seats on the new council.

Vision Vancouver Coun. Tim Stevenson is the only non-NPA pick for the GVRD or TransLink boards. Raymond Louie and COPE's David Cadman were relegated to the role of alternates for GVRD appointments, despite the fact both served on the GVRD and TransLink boards in the last term.

During the last term, Mayor Larry Campbell chose not to appoint either of the opposition councillors, Sullivan or Peter Ladner, to anything whatsoever.
